Hart Tan

Hart is a fun, happy and easy going person who spends a majority of his time creating memories with his 3 boys and his family while working on the businesses that helps people in capturing smiles of their children and family.

He has been awarded as Associate Master Photography by Master Photographers Association in UK for his achievement in his skills in photography.

He created Tomato Photo as well as Bambini Photography that has vision of capturing memories and telling people’s stories through professional quality photography for generations to come.

Triston Yeo

Distilling years of experience in traditional and performing arts, Triston has chosen photography as his vehicle to push the boundaries of art.

Based in Singapore, his commercial work includes projects for Pontiac Land, Bank Julius Baer, Credit Suisse, Changi Airport, Maritime Port Authority of Singapore. He is also acknowledged as Asian Geographic’s Best Photographer of the Decade and educating budding photographers is one of Triston’s personal missions. He won the Places category in the National Geographic Photography Competition in 2014 with his piece entitled, “Bathing in Budapest".

Karim Sahai

Karim is an award-winning nature photographer known for his dramatic High Arctic images of polar bears, frozen landscapes and the critically-endangered mountain gorillas of East Africa.

He is also a digital visual effects supervisor whose credits include The Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit Trilogies, Avatar, The Avengers and more than 40 other feature films. His unique brand of images combines photography and advanced digital methods used in the motion picture industry to craft compelling images.

Joseph Goh

Joseph has been awarded Hasselblad Masters 2014. He is also an Associate with the Masters Photographers Assocation & the Royal Photographic Society.

His awards include the One Eyeland Photography Awards 2015 (India), 8th Annual International Color Awards, Black & White Spider Awards 2015 (USA), ND Awards 2015 (UK), The EPSON International Pano Awards 2015 (USA), International Photography Awards 2015 (USA), PX3 2015 and many more...

As the owner of multiple successful photo operations, Hart Tan will share the basics of business, such as how to remain relevant and tackle challenges in the fast changing market. Any photographer dreaming of turning professional should not miss his talk!

“Pushing Creativity” by Triston Yeo

What separates a good photo from a uniquely great one? Listen to Triston Yeo as he shares his know-how on seeing creativity possibilities in every situation, and how to harness that power to produce unique works and develop your own distinctive style as a visual artist. Break through your creative mental block and take your photographer to a higher level!

“Picture your Cinema” by Karim Sahai

A photograph is a single image, but a collective of photos become a visual story. Learn how you can craft images and visual stories to bring out the beauty of nature around us from Karim Sahai, a nature photographer with a decade of experience narrating stunning visual stories through some of Hollywood’s best cinematography.

“Insects Macro Photography” by Joseph Goh

Macro photography opens up a magical world of details right under your very nose, and insects make especially great subjects with their dazzling colours and outlandish appearances! Anyone who tried knows how it can be hard to approach the critters, so let award winning photographer Joseph Goh share with you the secrets of capturing professional macro insect photography, so you won’t have to pray like a mantis to nail that great shot!

Montage 2016 is organised and presented to you by 47th Management Committee of The Photographic Society of National University of Singapore.

Founded in 1969, NUSPS is one of the earilest groups formed and boasts more than 700 members today. The Society is actively involved in bringing phtographic techniques and knowledge to members through courses, photography outings and competitions.
